Data Processing Rules

Privacy Policy

How EQVPN handles account, order, website analytics, and essential operational data while providing cross-border access and international route subscriptions.

Last updated: August 2026

Scope and Processing Principles

This policy applies to the EQVPN website, user panel, and network acceleration subscription services. By using the relevant pages or services, users acknowledge that they have read this policy. Data is processed according to the principles of defined purpose, necessity, and restricted access. EQVPN collects only the information needed for account management, service delivery, order processing, security maintenance, and troubleshooting.

This policy does not cover third-party websites, applications, or platforms that users access through international routes. Those services process data under their own policies, which users should review before use.

Data Collected and How It Is Used

Registration does not require an email address; a username and password are sufficient. The account system processes the username, a secure password hash, plan status, traffic usage, and necessary account settings for authentication, service delivery, usage calculation, and account security. The password hash is used for verification and is not stored in a directly readable form.

An email address is not required for registration. If a user voluntarily provides an email address for account recovery or support-ticket communication, EQVPN uses it only to confirm and respond to that request, not for unrelated purposes.

Order records include the selected plan, amount due, payment channel, transaction status, creation and completion times, and refund status. They are used to confirm entitlements, verify payments, resolve disputes, and meet financial recordkeeping obligations. Website analytics may include pages viewed, referring pages, browser type, device category, interaction events, and network identifiers processed as necessary. This information is used to assess page availability, detect abnormal access, and improve content structure.

No Logs and Connection Data

EQVPN follows a no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users visit or retain webpage content, communications, DNS queries, or destination addresses that could be used to reconstruct browsing activity. EQVPN does not create connection logs that can trace browsing history back to an account, and therefore does not retain users’ connection histories over time.

To keep routes operating and troubleshoot faults, the system may process aggregated usage data that cannot reveal specific access content, service status information, and temporary diagnostic data. This information is used for capacity management, security protection, and issue diagnosis, not to build personal browsing profiles. Temporary diagnostic data is deleted or de-identified after the relevant issue is resolved; aggregated data is retained only while needed for operational analysis.

Cookies, Local Storage, and Website Analytics

The website may use cookies or browser local storage to retain login status, language preferences, interface settings, and security verification data. This information maintains sessions and restores user choices. After clearing browser data, users may need to log in again or reset their preferences.

Website analytics help determine whether pages load correctly, whether navigation entry points work, and how users reach key features. Results focus on overall trends and are not used to record the specific websites users visit. Browser cookie controls and storage-clearing features can limit or delete local data, but disabling necessary storage may affect login and user panel functionality.

Payment Processing and Third-Party Services

EQVPN supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payment confirmation is completed by the relevant channel or processing service. EQVPN receives the transaction status and order identifier needed to complete an order and does not directly store payment credentials managed by the payment channel. Payment channels process transaction information under their own privacy rules; this policy does not replace those rules.

Limited order information is shared with relevant processors only when necessary to complete payment, prevent abnormal transactions, resolve order disputes, or meet applicable obligations. Except where required to deliver the service, EQVPN does not provide account information to third parties for the purpose of selling personal data.

Retention, Deletion, and Policy Updates

Account data is generally retained while the account remains active. Order information is kept for as long as necessary to verify transactions, process refunds, resolve disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Support tickets and materials voluntarily submitted by users are retained until the issue is resolved and no longer needed for follow-up verification. Website analytics are deleted, aggregated, or de-identified after the analysis purpose is complete.

Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related data through the support-ticket function in the user panel. To prevent unauthorized actions, account ownership must be verified before processing. Data still needed to complete order settlement, resolve disputes, conduct security investigations, or meet applicable obligations may be deleted after those matters conclude. After account deletion, subscription benefits that depend on the account can no longer be provided.

When this policy changes, the updated text will be published on this page and the last-updated date at the top will be revised. Significant changes involving data use or user rights may be announced through the user panel. Users are encouraged to review the updates before continuing to use the service.
